We will host an evening of dumpling making, dumpling eating, and celebrating the summertime! During this class you will learn tips and tricks to make a delicious dumpling feast for any party this summer.
During the two-hour class you will:
Learn how hand-fold and prepare as many dumplings as you can eat
Discover both vegetarian and meat filling recipes, ideas, and tips
Explore seasonal side dishes and dipping sauces
Share in a fun evening inclusive of wine and beer
Guests will leave with extra wrappers, extra filling and all the recipes to make delicious dumplings at home!
Monica Liau has been making dumplings for longer than she can remember. The homey packages were trotted out for birthdays, family gatherings, holidays, and other special occasions, and they was always enough to fill a crowd's belly, plus an extra freezer for auxiliary meals. Later, Monica spent 10 years in China, where she discovered other interesting fillings (sorry Grandma!) and dumpling masters across the provinces. On Chinese New Year, dumplings are must, and she's excited to share the art with a new audience.
