About the chef
Gennaro Esposito grew up part of an Italian-American family of chefs and restaurant owners in New Jersey. When he moved to DC for college, missing the family recipes sparked his cooking interest. Preparing weekly dinners for classmates quickly led to full time in restaurant kitchens. He has cooked professionally at Birch & Barley & Churchkey, Obelisk, and Tail Up Goat, where he had the opportunity to focus on whole-animal butchery, handmade pasta, and sourdough bread.
